Information You Submit
Names, phone numbers, or addresses entered in a search form are sent to the third-party provider that supplies those results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us is used only to review and answer what the sender asks.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may contain an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. Aggregate review helps maintain the service and identify useful pages. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may rely on cookies or similar technology where applicable.
How That Information Is Used
Limited visitor data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and content improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual reader profiles.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Florida Privacy Rights
Part V of the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, Fla. Stat. ยงยง 501.701 through 501.722, applies only to defined covered controllers and provides qualifying consumers rights that may include access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-outs. Cape Coral Residents Directory keeps very little visitor information, but a request can be made through the Contact page. Public records held by Florida, Lee County, or Cape Coral custodians remain outside our control, and any correction or protected-address request must go to the office holding the record.
Updates to This Policy
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
